The Hudson Farmers Market is a collaborative volunteer effort designed to help retain the special character of Hudson. It began as a project of Leadership Hudson, a program sponsored by The Rotary Club of Hudson Clock Tower, and a collaboration between community leaders and civic-minded residents. The Leadership Hudson Class of 2006-2007 adopted the Hudson Farmers Market as its class project. The Hudson Farmers Market is now established as its own nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
The goal of the market is to establish a self-sustaining, self-managed non-profit farmers’ market to benefit local and surrounding communities, artisan producers, and small businesses. The Hudson Farmers Market opened for business in the summer of 2007 with 25 vendors. Today, we have more than 40 vendor tents whose businesses are within a 100-mile radius of Hudson.
